The bond between my mother and me is the subject of this piece. The entangled, naturally-dropped yarn represents our complex bloodline connection and the inextricable relationship between my mother and me. It serves as a bridge between the two paintings. Therefore, the subtle gap between the two images is not a separation but a channel for spiritual communication.
