Shape of Desire

This abstract piece uses thick and firm smear and splash of red paint (blood) to express a kind of man-made bloody cruelty, black paint to reflect the darkness caused by bloodshed, ambition, and overflowing desire, and yellow to symbolize hope yet being distant, hazy, and uncertain... Desire comes from the human heart and exists in different shapes. If you can’t control it, it will control you. I hope this work could bring a different feeling to every viewer. As the proverb goes, there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes.
