Speaking Water

The best are like water.
—Lao Tzu
Some things on this earth are unspeakable:
Genealogy of the flown—
A delicate sound clattering ripples after the above,
Or the lark of spirit and no one feels—
Some humans say water are not sentient beings,
But they do not understand poetry—
Nor can they see the dedication of water when they brought help to
All, without competing—
Or see their smiles of kindness when they are ignored and devalued—
Now I am a teenage girl longing to be water, flew in a moist, ethereal earth
Between sunrise and sunset—
I cannot stroll through all spaces—
I carry a yearning I cannot bear alone in nature—
What shall I do with all this heartache?
The deepest-penetrated dream of water is to flow
Even just a little directions, from the place next to the soil—
To the termination of the world of life, and moisturize—
I have seen water contributing silently, long before Nuwa has created man:
Imagine what would it be like to be like water
In this land of desire and selfishness. . .
To see deep what is governing with virtue.
